Intermediate · BIEAP

Five streams. The same careful classroom.

Vijaya Kranthi offers all five mainstream Intermediate combinations under the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh — in both Telugu and English mediums. Below is what each stream covers, who it’s suited for, and the entrance-exam support we layer on top in the second year.

Stream 1 · Sciences (Maths group)

MPC — Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

The classical engineering-and-sciences track. MPC is the right fit for students who want to write EAMCET, JEE-Mains, or pursue a B.Sc. with a Maths or Physics specialisation. Mathematics is the workhorse subject — Inter MPC syllabus reaches up to calculus, vectors, 3D geometry and probability — and Physics & Chemistry build the foundations for engineering entrance scoring.

At Vijaya Kranthi, MPC students get four periods of Mathematics every week from the second quarter of Class 11 onwards, with additional EAMCET / JEE-pattern question practice on Saturdays from June of the second year.

Subject combination

  • English (Part I)
  • Sanskrit / Telugu (Part II — second language)
  • Mathematics — Paper I & II
  • Physics — Paper I & II
  • Chemistry — Paper I & II

What students go on to do

B.Tech / B.E. in any engineering branch through AP-EAMCET or JEE-Mains; B.Arch through NATA; integrated M.Sc. programmes (IIT / NIT / IISER); B.Sc. (Maths / Physics / Computer Science); merchant-navy / NDA tracks.

Stream 2 · Sciences (Biology group)

BiPC — Biology, Physics, Chemistry

The medical and life-sciences track. BiPC is for students aiming at MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc, B.Pharm, B.Sc. (Nursing), B.Sc. (Agriculture) and the rest of the NEET / EAMCET-Agri family of programmes. The Botany and Zoology papers are content-heavy and reward steady, daily revision — which is exactly what our weekly internal-test calendar is built around.

NEET-pattern foundation worksheets begin from the second quarter of Class 11; full NEET mock-tests are scheduled monthly from October of the second year.

Subject combination

  • English (Part I)
  • Sanskrit / Telugu (Part II)
  • Botany — Paper I & II
  • Zoology — Paper I & II
  • Physics — Paper I & II
  • Chemistry — Paper I & II

What students go on to do

MBBS / BDS through NEET; B.Pharm, B.Sc. (Nursing), B.V.Sc, B.Sc. (Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry) through AP-EAMCET-Agri; B.Sc. (Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry); paramedical and allied-health programmes.

Stream 3 · Commerce (Maths group)

MEC — Mathematics, Economics, Commerce

The bridging stream — Maths-strong, Commerce-trained. MEC is the right pick if you want a quantitative grounding alongside business subjects, and gives you the widest set of options at degree-level: B.Com (General / CA / Computers), BBA, B.Sc. (Statistics / Economics), and the CA-Foundation track.

Subject combination

  • English (Part I)
  • Sanskrit / Telugu (Part II)
  • Mathematics — Paper I & II
  • Economics — Paper I & II
  • Commerce — Paper I & II

What students go on to do

B.Com (General / CA / Computers); BBA; B.A. (Economics); CA-Foundation; CMA-Foundation; CS-Foundation; integrated five-year law (B.A.-LLB / BBA-LLB) through CLAT or LSAT.

Stream 4 · Commerce (Civics group)

CEC — Civics, Economics, Commerce

For students drawn to Commerce, Law, and the Civil Services. CEC drops Mathematics from the combination and replaces it with Civics, which is a strong foundation for political science, public administration, and competitive examinations. Students from this stream typically do very well in B.Com, BBA, and Group-II / Group-IV state-services preparation.

We add a 90-minute current-affairs and general-awareness reading slot every Wednesday afternoon for CEC students from the first year onwards.

Subject combination

  • English (Part I)
  • Sanskrit / Telugu (Part II)
  • Civics — Paper I & II
  • Economics — Paper I & II
  • Commerce — Paper I & II

What students go on to do

B.Com (General / CA / Computers / Taxation); BBA; B.A. (Political Science / Public Admin / Sociology); CLAT-track law programmes; CA / CS / CMA-Foundation; APPSC Group-II and Group-IV preparation.

Stream 5 · Humanities

HEC — History, Economics, Civics

The humanities-first stream. HEC is built around three discursive subjects — History, Economics and Civics — and it rewards students who are willing to read, take notes, and write essay answers. It is an excellent foundation for B.A., journalism, social work, education (B.Ed.) and the Civil Services. Students from this stream often write the strongest answer scripts at internal examinations.

Subject combination

  • English (Part I)
  • Sanskrit / Telugu (Part II)
  • History — Paper I & II
  • Economics — Paper I & II
  • Civics — Paper I & II

What students go on to do

B.A. (History / Economics / Political Science / Sociology / Telugu / English); B.Ed. (after a degree); BJMC and journalism programmes; B.S.W. (social work); APPSC Group-I, Group-II and UPSC preparation tracks.

Common to all streams

What every Vijaya Kranthi student gets, regardless of stream.

Bilingual lecturing

Concepts taught in Telugu, anchored in the English textbook vocabulary. Every internal-test paper is set in both languages.

Weekly internal tests

Saturday weekly tests, monthly cumulative tests and three pre-final examinations across the two years, with marks shared with parents.

Doubt-clearing every evening

4:30–5:30 p.m. is reserved every working day for one-on-one doubt clearing with the subject lecturer for that day’s topics.

Stream mentor

Each stream has a senior mentor who tracks every student’s marks, attendance and well-being across both years.

Lab notebooks

Practical lab notebooks are corrected fortnightly by the lab assistant and reviewed by the lecturer on the last working day of the month.

BIEAP practical readiness

Two full mock practical exams in the second year, conducted in our own labs to BIEAP format and timing.

After Inter · 2026–27

The Vijaya Kranthi degree wing opens AY 2026–27. Inter MPC continues into B.Sc. (MPC / MPCs), Inter MEC and CEC into B.Com. (General / Computer Applications), Inter HEC and CEC into B.A. (HEP) — under Krishna University, on the same Pedakallepalli Road campus. See the degree programmes →

Choose your stream

Talk to a mentor before you choose.
